The Shelter Dog population in Las Vegas is experiencing significant overcrowding.The Animal Foundation reports severe capacity issues.In 2024, The Animal Foundation, of Las Vegas, Nevada USA, took in a total of 13,572 dogs, which represented a 9.29% increase from the previous year.By late 2025, reports indicate the intake rate has remained extremely high, and has surpassed last year; with the Animal Foundation now handling over 60 dogs per day.

60 Shelter Dogs A Day are admitted into The Animal Foundation.
